The refurbished L'Occitane store is a bright, airy and soothing space. The new store allows for easy access to all products through wide walkways. There are minimal products on display to signify the high-end brand. The traditional yellow colour used to represent the brand has been utilised subtly in the wash station of the store - this resembles the historic identity of the brand. Timber is another natural material used throughout the traditional stores, so has been incorporated into the display units. The store is a lot less cluttered, allowing for the room to open up and feel less cramped - this is important as the store size is very small. The timber French doors add an extra element of traditional French style, as well as the flower arrangements above the display shelving. Acknowledging and displaying French style is a vital part of the brief to clearly appreciate the brands identity - respecting the brand and it's history while introducing a contemporary twist.
