Align Kitchens is a small-scale cabinet maker who had the opportunity to showcase their services and products in the Brisbane Exhibition Centre.

Criteria

  • Showcase variety of products

  • Incorporate unique modular system

  • Easy traffic flow

  • Include consultation area

  • POS Station

  • Maximise space without minimising products

The proposed exhibition stand for Align Kitchens is one that clearly shows their products and services in a way that can be viewed from many different entry points. The large exhibition stand can be accessed from three different sides which makes traffic flow easy - the mirrored wall and layout of the cabinetry also encourages the movement of visitors by directing them from one side to the other. There are various cabinetry displays that showcase a variety of styles and finishes, along with the sample board at the rear end of the expo stand. The consultation station is partitioned by a glass wall - this creates privacy but doesn't block the space out entirely, so that visitors can still view the displays. The modular system that was used is a butterfly form - this was constructed as pillars and beams to support the stand. The reason behind this form was the reflect the brands identity. Align Kitchens is a custom cabinet maker who specialise in providing precise, detailed and high quality products. The butterfly resembles identical symmetry on both sides which also relates to attention to detail - a strong skill that Align Kitchens has.
